He has gigged throughout Hobart, in acts such as Hudson Cartel and 0m3, as well as having performed extensively across the Greater Brisbane area and in Melbourne. In recent years he has supported bands such as Kingswood, Smith Street Band and Spiderbait.

Within his solo creative ventures, he likes to lean into the weird nature the world can take through his lens as well as attempting to bring theatre to his solo performances as well as a type of incoordination and planned chaos.

As “Gochi”, he runs a market stall, with a focus on his digital art, performs an improv looping act, that leans into the disorder of audience interaction. He also hosts "Gochi's Extravaganza", which is a showcase of art and music that features some of Gochi's inventions, such as a machine that visually represents sound waves through their physical vibrations.

Gochi's roots in visual art are in video game design, the creation of digital 3D scenes and landscapes as well as professional graphic and web design. He has had a love for artistic creation tied to technology for over a decade and will always dive straight into a project that involves coding, soldering and problem solving with the same artistic direction and passion that he has given his music over the years.

He is currently pushing himself artistically, trying to forge a career in the arts, with a short film in the works, along with an exhibition to work towards in 2024, he is currently exploring the diversification of his artistic practices, in the hopes to gain a better insight into his creative self, to build and improve upon his practice.

Mr Gochi is a Nipaluna (Hobart) musician, designer and digital/ mixed media artist, with a passion for creating impactful art with a high entertainment value. In recent years he has composed for theatre, released several collections of music, built and released video games and designed and developed websites for Tasmanian record labels, artists and galleries. He has performed as a musician, in several different projects at events including Winter Feast and Junction Arts Festival.
